Eco apron one-of-a-kind

I can’t bear throwing fabric remnants away, consequently I have two big boxes of fabric bits, left over from making aprons. This apron is constructed using ochre denim remnants, which have subtle colour differences from the different dye lots. The result is one highly individual yet tough and functional work apron that will last for years to come.

NEW limited edition apron

This deep forest green brushed twill fabric is wonderfully ‘strokeable’… but I only have enough for 4 aprons! It’s the new No23:1 design, with all the comfort of a crossback apron, combined with the snug fit of a tie apron, or, leave open for an easy-fit. The row of front bib pockets and large skirt pocket come in very handy in the studio or garden.

NEW ‘milk boy’ artists apron…

Gorgeous, thick organic cotton apron, milky cream denim with stripe denim details. Super comfortable crossback design, split leg skirt and 3 roomy pockets. Now in Folksy and Etsy shops. Something about it reminds me of the old days of dairies and milkman, my Mum’s first job, in 1960, was as a milk analyst at a dairy in West London!

A NEW apron, yellow, blue & stripey!

Finally got the first No23 apron in the Folksy & Etsy shops, it’s been a long time in development. The adjustable crossback design combines the comfort of a crossback apron with the snug fit of a tie apron, or, you can leave the ties knotted for an easy fit!

This apron was developed to be able to use smaller pieces of fabric and combining different fabrics in one apron, with the idea of reducing waste, upcycling and recycling. I’m currently making samples of a split skirt version with cargo pockets, which I’ve already sold to clients making custom orders.

New blue denim apron No4:6

‘Apron photography’ is the bane of my life, especially in the summer months, when the 2 big trees in front of the house block out light…. but managed to take some photos yesterday afternoon of 3 new apron designs. This is a soft drape denim, crossback apron, with a split skirt and asymmetric bib – it’s incredibly comfortable!

NEW apron fabric/colour…

A new fabric, colour and extra pocket for the No 4:5! A good sturdy cotton canvas in a lovely warm ‘curry’ shade and a roomy pocket added on one side of the apron skirt.

The split leg skirt construction gives lots of movement, whilst ensuring each leg is perfectly covered when sitting at the wheel or work bench – this is the perfect apron for sitting down type crafts! The crossback design is fantastically comfortable to wear all day long.
