This apron is based on a set of bespoke aprons I designed and made for the fabulous Marine Ices ice cream shop in Camden, London, last year. This version is made of a much heavier fabric and I added lots more pocket space. Folksy.Heavy-duty-mens-work-apron-No-9
I’m booked in to teach apron workshops at The Goodlife Centre (near London Bridge) on 9th July and 11th September. It’s a lovely studio space with windows all round 3 sides of the room.

I had a lovely surprise this evening when I opened the Folksy newletter email – there was a photo of one of my aprons (modelled by James)!! They are “starting off 2016 with a selection of artisan crafts made by hand by British craftsmen and women, curated by Kirsti B Ceramics.” Actually there are 2 of my work aprons in her selection. Over the weekend my Folksy shop had masses of visits – finally did a Google search to figure out why and found that my new ochre denim apron was up Folksy’s favourite picks… then found it again on Folksy’s front page!
